K&N Engineering will co-host the 2011 How to Build Horsepower seminar presented by David Vizard. In conjunction with Engine Builder magazine and the University of Northwestern Ohio, K&N will facilitate the sharing of knowledge that will occupy three days with engine-building theory.

The seminar not only deals with the design and optimization of individual components but also uniquely deals with what makes successful combinations – a subject that just about no-one else seems to want to tackle. Finding successful combinations within a short time will be a determining factor if you are to be a successful performance/race engine builder in today’s highly competitive environment.

With 50-plus years of experience, Vizard is an accomplished writer on the subject of high performance and racing engine building and can explain complex topics to both novice and professional engine builders alike. He has conducted engine technology seminars for more than 20 years all around the world.

This year’s seminar is being held March 11–13 at the University of Northwestern Ohio campus in Lima, Ohio. UNOH is a private, not-for-profit institution offering a significant automotive curriculum, including Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, High Performance Motorsports and Alternate Fuels Technology. It is also the host of the national reality television show Motorsports U, broadcast on the Fox Sports Network.
