One of the main keys to success in the automotive industry has always been to help others reach their goals and your’s will follow. In an industry built around passion and supporting one another to succeed, it’s no surprise that Lincoln Electric continues to step up to the plate and help those in need.

Santa Ana Community College, now celebrating its 100th Anniversary, is proud to be offering premier and specialized welding programs featuring a full line of Lincoln Electric welders and gear. With over 24,000 students enrolled, everyone is doing their part to hit the ground running and contribute to their community in a positive way by working hard in these job training programs.

Job training is an essential part of rebuilding our communities and specifically, in this case, giving an emphasis on the importance of the automotive industry on today’s economic climate. Going back to school for a full welding certification with classes and certs offered in oxy-acetylene, arc, MIG,, TIG, and flux-core welding–there is no shortage of valuable tools to make the right step in your career path.

As you can see from watching the video above, George Moreno (one of Santa Ana’s welding instructors) is proud to be able to assist others in achieving their goals and dreams. Moreno states, “If you want to succeed you have to train with the best, and use the best technology so the students can go outside and succeed.”

Dr. Elinda Martinez, the school’s President even shares and jokes that she now has more knowledge of welding and some of the different variables thanks to the Santa Ana hands-on program. They offer the latest in Lincoln technology, which includes “virtual welding” so the students can learn some basic techniques before burning up expensive consumables.

At a time when jobs are scarce, it’s nice to see companies coming together and reaching out to help build the communities back up, one step at a time. Kudos go out to both Lincoln Electric and Santa Ana Community College to doing their part, and keeping the passion and hope alive! We might just have to sign up for a few classes and check it out.
