New C9 Racing Fuel Released By VP Racing Fuels

Storing your performance toys for the winter usually means draining the fuel or using additives in order to maintain your engine and fuel system. While this can get you by, it can be quite the hassle. With VP Racing Fuels, and their new C9 Race Fuel, carburetors don’t need to be drained, additives don’t need to be used and the gas will remain stable to be used once spring comes around.

Official Release:

VP INTRODUCES UNLEADED, NON-OXYGENATED “C9”

Prevents Ethanol-Related Problems, Perfect for Seasonal Storage

SAN ANTONIO, TX -VP Racing Fuels today announced the introduction of “C9” racing fuel to complement its longstanding C10 blend. “Like our very popular C10, new C9 is an ethanol-free, non-oxygenated unleaded product,” said Jim Kelly, VP’s Corporate Director-Sales.

“C9 prevents all the problems associated with ethanol in pump gas, thus making it a great fuel for seasonal storage,” Kelly continued. “Unlike pump gas which leaves deposits, clogs injectors, attracts moisture and separates while in storage, C9 won’t go bad. You won’t have to drain fuel from your carburetor even if your engine sits idle for weeks or months, and C9 will remain stable at least two years in a sealed container. Make C9 the last thing you run through the carburetor and fuel tank before putting your boat or favorite ride away this winter and you’ll see instant results when it’s time to get things started in the spring.”

“With an octane rating of 96 (R+M/2), C9 provides an economical alternative to C10 that still offers more resistance to detonation and improved performance over premium pump gas,” Kelly added. “C9 won’t harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors and will provide great starts in heat or cold.”

In addition to automotive applications, C9 will perform well in motorcycles, quads, snowmobiles and more. C9 racing fuel is for use in racing vehicles only and may not be used in street-driven motor vehicles.

Highlights:

  • Ethanol free
  • Prevents ethanol-based problems
  • Won’t go bad-remains stable for 2+ years in a sealed container
  • Octane rating of 96
  • Suitable for automotive, motorcycle, quad, snowmobile and more applications
