Get Your C10 Grounded With Total Cost Involved

Are you building a bad-to-the-bone C10 Chevy? Let’s face it, they are a hot commodity right now. If you are planning to make your truck handle like never before, you know you need to give serious thought to your chassis, right? Thankfully, the people at Total Cost Involved (TCI) do just that — every day. In fact, TCI is proud to offer you their new and complete 1963-1972 Chevrolet C10 Grounded Chassis.

These new foundations include all-new front and rear air bag suspension components that allow you to lay the frame on the ground when using 29-inch front and rear tires. Fully aired up, the chassis boasts a max ground clearance of 8 inches with minimal camber change. Finally, when aired down, it provides 4 inches of ride height.

The frame is laser cut and jig welded, and the front frame rails are widened to allow more room for headers and steering components. In the rear, the frame is narrowed to accommodate outboard-mounted shocks and wider tires.

Mounted up front we find a track-proven Pro Touring-inspired suspension designed specifically for airbags and outboard shock mounts to accept Ridetech single-adjustable shocks. The front suspension includes heavy-duty tubular control arms, a 1-inch anti-sway bar, and rack-and-pinion steering along with custom modular spindles to provide plenty of brake options. This design brings performance to an air-bagged chassis.

The center portion is a direct carry-over from TCI’s Pro-Touring chassis. This 12-piece, trussed center section keeps the frame from twisting no matter how much horsepower you throw at it. Don’t worry, there is still plenty of room to run a 3-inch diameter exhaust.

The fully boxed frame rails step up 8-inches in the rear area and are C-notched to accommodate that extra-low stance. Beefy 1 1/4-inch four-link bars are coupled with Currie Enterprises Johnny Joints to deliver unbinding articulation, less pinion angle change during suspension travel, and to minimize forward movement of axle centerline at full compression. All of this is suspended by rollover sleeve style Firestone airbags and Ridetech single-adjustable shocks. This combination allows you to adjust the ride height and fine-tune ride quality to your liking.

All Grounded Chassis come standard with a complete Currie 9-inch differential filled with 31-spline axles and your choice of gearing. The housing is fabricated in-house for maximum strength to give your truck the ultimate in reliability. According to TCI, “we can build these to your exact specifications from stock width or shortened to accommodate your large, deep dish rear wheels.” What are you waiting for? Get your truck properly grounded today with the help of Total Cost Involved.
