Overhaulin’ is back! That’s right, guys have been begging for its return and now Velocity, a division of Discovery channel, is premiering Overhaulin’ on Oct 2^nd, 2012. Hosted by Chip Foose, Jessi Combs , and Chris Jacobs.

Originally on TLC, the show will now be seen on Velocity and produced by WATV Productions. Velocity shows mainly gear-head related shows like Chasing Classic Cars, and WATV produces a lot of similar shows like Supercars Exposed hosted by Tanner Foust.

This is what Foose’s website said:

“Overhaulin’ is coming back to Velocity!  Chip Foose and The A Team are looking for people who love their car and whose personal story is inspirational and deserves to be shared with others.  Of course, this would be accomplished without the car owner’s knowledge. We don’t want to ruin the element of surprise and expression on their face once the vehicle is returned.

“Currently, we are accepting written and/or video submissions using the form on right with a description/photos of the vehicle along with why we should pick the nominees vehicle for the show. Please note that all submissions must be made through this website in order to be official so please do not contact Chip or WATV Productions directly.

“Who knows, the next car/vehicle chosen to be on Overhaulin’ could be your deserving friend’s or loved one.  Remember, the overhaul is a secret until the moment the Overhaulin’ team returns the vehicle!”
