Following rousing success in the sales department and a huge level of interest from the performance aftermarket and enthusiast arena, the Chevrolet Camaro was awarded as the Hottest Car at this year’s SEMA Show, and there was no shortage of manufacturers displaying their new products for the new GM muscle car. and one of the leading manufacturers of exhaust components for not only the new Camaro, but past GM vehicles as well, is Pacesetter Performance Products.
Amongst their lineup of popular exhaust products, Pacesetter had on display their brand new sets of TFX headers for the 2010-2011 Camaro SS and V6, which includes both longtube and shorty models for both engine combinations. Without the use of a catalytic converter, these new headers will gain you somewhere between 28 and 35 horsepower.
Finished in black paint with a ceramic “Armor” coating finish available as an option, the V6 headers sport 1-3/4-inch tubing, while that for the V8 measure 1-5/8-inch. In keeping things simplistic and ready for install, these new headers are compatible and fit right up to Pacesetter’s TFX exhaust systems for the Camaro. These headers are also compatible with other LS engines, so long as the exhaust ports remain the same.
