Attention everyone! The Hot Rodders of Tomorrow’s 2001 GMC tractor-trailer was stolen sometime between Saturday, July 11 and Monday, July 13, 2015 from its storage location in San Jacinto, California.
The stolen trailer has an Illinois state plate and its license plate number is P834651. Everyone in Southern California, please be on the lookout for the Hot Rodders trailer.
The Hot Rodders of Tomorrow began in 2008 with five high school teams composed of 35 students, who competed at the first Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge at the Race and Performance Expo in St. Charles, Illinois.
With each coming year, the challenge has grown larger and larger, making its way into Goodguys car shows, SEMA, and various automotive expos. To put into perspective, in 2014 there were 110 teams with 770 students competing in ten different qualifying events that include each Goodguys Nationals, the Georgia Open, Edelbrock Car Show, and Motorstate’s Lane Car Show.
If you see, hear, or know anything about this trailer, please contact Jim or Rodney Bingham at (815) 722-5460. Please share this information with anyone you know on Facebook or other social media outlets.
Also, if you hear of anyone trying to return or sell any Edelbrock carburetors, heads, manifolds, air cleaners, MSD Ignitions, Hedman Hedders, engine stands, or anything automotive related to make sure the parts are not stolen. A proper police report has been filed for the incident accordingly.
Thank you in advance for your help and call to attention. Please contact Jim or Rodney Bingham at (815) 722-5460 if you need further information or you have any tips for law enforcement.
