Premium Stopping Power For Your ’11 Mustang With New Rotors From DBA

Got a 2011 Mustang and you’re look for some extra stopping power? Well look no further than Disc Brakes Australia, who have just released their brand new brake rotors designed for the 2011 Mustang V6, GT, and the Shelby GT500. These 4000 and 500o Series rotors have all the features you’d expect in a premium brake rotor, with an impressive 6×6 wiper-slot design that performs as efficiently as it looks. Each slot is strategically aligned above an underlining series of 144 diamond and tear-drop pillars known as the Kangaroo Paw Ventilation system. These stop, brake cooler, and outperform traditional straight line vane rotors by as much as 20%.

The specially formulated cast-iron used in these rotors provides excellent thermal characteristics and elevates the rotors thermal shock resistance. The result is a rotor capable of surviving frequent and rapid thermal heat cycles with core-heat temperature reaching up to 630-degrees Celsius. In layman’s terms, these can handle some serious braking.

They incorporate DBA’s unique TSP (thermal stability profiling) which enhances the microstructure of the cast iron, allowing the disc to better manage increased and prolonged heat associated with heavy braking and without rotor distortion.

Front rotors are available in either the premium 4000 Series one-piece construction or the 5000 Series performance two-piece design. Rear rotors are available in the 4000 Series one-piece with the 6×6 wiper-slot design.
