Few displays here at PRI regularly feature as much cleverness and ingenuity as that of Spaghetti Menders, with their catalog of electronic racing controllers, nitrous controllers, and other electronic. Leading up to PRI, company President Bob Lapp was putting the finishing touches on his new Purge Equalizer thats been unveiled for demonstration before going into production.
With this new unit, nitrous racers will have the ability to preset a high limit on the line purge, go on the motor purge, and then finally the race level setting on the line purge prior to leaving the starting line. This provides the ability to launch at the same bottle pressure setting every pass with consistency and accuracy and eliminates the need to rely on eyeballing a gauge for the proper pressure reading. This in turn leads to more simplified turning and consistent performance on the racetrack. The system will be compatible with all nitrous systems on the market and will be available soon depending on interest and demand from the drag racing market.
