Scat Crankshafts is always looking to expand their already-extensive catalog of cranks and rods, and some of the newest additions are 4340 big block Chevy cranks that are made in the USA with forgings from Pacific Drop Forge. They’re set up with 454 mains, center counterweights, and are designed for a two-piece rear seal. Five stroke options are available – 3.766, 4.250, 4.375, 4.500, and 4.750.
Also new from Scat are 4340 forged standard weight crankshafts for Pontiac, with 455 mains. Previously only available with 326-400 mains, these new cranks feature a 4.250 or 4.500 stroke, and are designed for a 6.800 rod.
