“There’s something about the LS motor that makes people think, ‘Hey, I can work on this.’ But when it comes to the Gen III HEMIs, people are spooked to crack ’em open,” explained Steve Becker from Harland Sharp. “There’s plenty of power there to be had. Trust me.”
Harland Sharp was one of the firsts to really see potential in Chrysler’s new 5.7L and 6.1L HEMIs. Pulling the valve covers off the aluminum-headed mini-elephant, HS saw something in desperate need of a makeover, the valvetrain. Building a full roller tip aluminum rocker to fit under the relatively constrictive factory covers, the anodized orange rockers work with factory-length pushrods and retain the factory 1.65:1 ratio.
Available in either non-adjustable or adjustable (which requires upgrading the HEMI to a solid lifter), the needle bearing fulcrum aluminum rockers are an ideal addition to any late-model HEMI running a larger aftermarket valve spring. Designed to increase your Gen III HEMI’s horsepower by reducing friction, these roller rockers are a quick and easy way to strengthen up your valvetrain (and increase longevity).
