Back in May, we brought you a first look at Trans Am Depot’s 6T9 Goat, an homage to the 1969 GTO based on the 5th Gen Camaro. Here at PRI, we got to see one of the conversions in the real world, front and center in Mustang Dyno’s booth. Unlike the hardtop version we’ve seen previously, the car on display is based on the drop-top Camaro, and features changes to the front fascia, rear bumper, hood, and interior, as well as a Hellion twin turbo conversion, evidenced by the intercooler peeking out from the lower air dam.

From the back, The Goat shows its dual-quad taillights that mimic the iconic A-body look, but comes off as a little blocky.

Other functional upgrades include Eibach lowering springs on all four corners, and 20 by 10 forged Rally-style wheels up front and 20 by 11 in the back, wrapped in low profile rubber. Due to copyright issues, you can’t call it a GTO or a Judge, but they’ve definitely done a good job capturing the style of that iconic Pontiac with the 6T9 badging, beltline stripes, and groovy “The Goat” decals up front.

On the hood, a boost gauge takes the place of the original's tach.

One spot where the styling drifts somewhat off model is the profile of the nose – while the 1969 Pontiac had a more or less flat front bumper, The Goat has a pronounced “beak” to it, which may or may not be your cup of tea. In other respects, they’ve captured the look of the original and created a car that will outperform any stock 1969 GTO, as mighty as they were.
