For the hardcore drag racers out there competing heads-up or in index based categories, or even dirt track racers with performance of paramount focus, AirFlow Research has unveiled a pair of new cylinder heads here at PRI for the small block Chevrolet.

The new Eliminator PRO series 325cc 13.5-degree small block Chevy head is fully five-axis CNC ported head, based on the Brodix GB2300 casting, and are designed for drag racing applications, sprint cars, and late models. They feature an improved spark plug angle and location, raise intake ports, moved valve center lines, and a raise cover rail. As well, the AFR cylinder head package includes titanium intake (2.235″) and exhaust (1.595″) valves, roller dual valve springs, 10-degree titanium retainers and bead lock valve keepers, copper seats, and bronze guides. These offer affordable power beyond conventional 23-degree heads and are modeled after the GM 18-degree pieces and accept all commonly available parts for such cylinder heads. The 285cc model comes with lightweight 2.150″ intake and 1.600″ exhaust valves in stainless or titanium, with a 50-degree valve seat angle, chrome moly retainers, copper valve seats (when ordered with titanium valves), and more.
