Celebrating 50 years in the industry, Erson Cams brings back vintage cam profiles for classic musclecars and nostalgia drags. These cam profile masters were found when they were doing some moving around and now they’ve decided to bring back some of these legendary cams today.
This was legendary stuff, they were the hot ticket. -Jack McInnis
Jack McInnis of PBM and Erson said, “In the process of moving the operation, they found the original Sig Erson ground masters from the ’60s and ’70s. This was legendary stuff, they were the hot ticket.”
Sig Erson had a reputation for making power while keeping the reliability factored in, and it was those cams that became well known and legendary. Taking what was ground-breaking at the time and pairing those cam profiles with modern cam grinding machinery produces some of the highest quality cams on the market, without losing the originality that made these cams appeal to competitive racers back in the day.
Also World Products newest offerings from their standard and tall deck Chevy Blocks.
They also showed us a little Road Rage – their new cam profiles for flat tappet or hydraulic rollers. These new Street Performer cams come with a little attitude attached, and are designed to optimize lift, overlap, and duration.
The Road Rage cams were developed to work with carbureted small and big block Chevys and the Ford small block engines. The lobes profiles are specific to each engine design to provide your street machine with a mean and nasty sound, and the performance and power to back it up.
