Got a high horsepower, high torque application and looking to strengthen up your rear end housing for some extra peace of mind and overall strength of your drivetrain? Well, the folks at Proform have got your rear covered. Literally.
Proform’s Perfect Launch line of rear end housing covers are reinforced and made of lightweight aluminum, and are designed to strengthen the rear housing case in high torque applications. The covers include two bolts to stabilize bearing main caps, fluid capacity and magnetic drain plugs, and mounting bolts. The covers have a black painted finish, with a precision milled surface displaying the Perfect Launch logo. These covers are designed to reinforce the rear end by eliminating the twisting action of the rear axles commonly experienced with many housings.
These new covers displayed at the SEMA show include those for the 7.5 GM, 12-bolt GM, and 8.8 Ford and are now available as part of a lineup that includes the GM 10-bolt piece, already in production by Proform.
