Well, it’s that time of year again. Las Vegas will become ground zero for all things automotive when the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association rolls into the Las Vegas Convention Center on November 5th. With over one million square feet of exhibition space, almost every automotive company around the globe will display its latest wares. Anything you might need for the car will be there to peruse. Tires, wheels, floormats, tint, and blinking license plate frames are just a few. Custom cars, monster trucks, and autocrossing events will keep the showgoers titillated if that gets ho-hum. The most famous automotive royalty from Dave Kindig, Chip Foose, and Jay Leno will be there too.
One of the biggest names in custom cars is the Ringbrothers and they’re headed to Sin City to debut three new custom builds, a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda, 1987 Buick Grand National, and 1972 Chevrolet Blazer
Based in Spring Green, Wisconsin, Ringbrothers has established itself in the automotive aftermarket as a custom parts builder and world-class car fabrication company. Among its many accolades are several Chevrolet Best in Show awards, Goodguys Street Machine of the Year awards, Mothers’ Shine awards, and SEMA Battle of the Builders wins in 2019 and 2022.
Ringbrothers designs, fabricates, packages, and ships its products from its factory, with the utmost quality, craftsmanship, and customer service. Revolutionizing the way restomods are made, Ringbrothers continues to set the standard with its innovative designs and flair.
The three Ringbrothers’ dream cars represent more than 15,000 combined build hours and all are a rolling showcase of the brother’s automotive design calling card. The highlight of the show is expected to be a 1,246-horsepower 1987 Buick Grand National. With no further ado, let’s get to know the Ringbrother’s latest and greatest builds for SEMA 2024.
“INFECTED”
1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda: Ringbrothers is taking a stand against the endless shades of gray saturating the modern car market with a high-impact color some may deem polarizing. Ringbrothers’ 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda boasts an 807-horsepower Hellcrate Redeye engine, manual transmission, extended wheelbase, custom cowl, and firewall, fenders and so much more. “Infected” is a celebration of Pentastar’s performance while paying homage to the high-impact Mopar colors of the late sixties. The custom Plymouth will be unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 5th, at 11 a.m. in the Ringbrothers booth #23191.
“INVADR”
1987 Buick Grand National: Ringbrothers has reimagined Buick’s legendary Grand National into a 1,246-horsepower tarmac-shredding machine. A six-speed manual transmission is mated to a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 and features ample custom touches, enhancing the G-Body’s classic eightes Buick styling. “Invadr” will be unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. in the Gentex booth #23889.
“TUKA”
1972 Chevrolet Blazer: Engineered from the ground up as a thorough re-engineering of Chevrolet’s iconic off-roader, the four-wheel-drive Blazer incorporates modern convenience and ample technology in a truly unique DNA. Every panel has been tweaked with bespoke components that showcase Ringbrothers’ zealous attention to detail.
“Tuka: will be unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. in the Gentex booth #23889.
