The Saleen name has been around since 1984, largely based around the fabled Ford Mustang. Today, however, Saleen is directing its focus away from the construction of complete vehicles to focus on marketing its high performance, aftermarket parts, though the Saleen SpeedLab.
The SpeedLab is the parts division of Saleen, offering suspension kits and components, powertain parts, brakes, wheels and tires, body kits and upgrades, and a host of other stylish and high-quality, Saleen-branded products. Among the hot items displayed by Saleen at SEMA this year were their new 2005+ N2 coilover shocks, rear sway bars, rear lower control arms, and other components for the 2005-2010 Mustangs.
Saleen also offers an N2+ Adjustable Suspension Kit, complete with height adjustable coilover shocks, tuned coil springs, and sports calibrated tunable camping. And speaking volumes of the capability of this kit, a Saleen customer recently reset the VIR road course track record utilizing the N2+ system.
Among the huge line of aftermatket components offered in the Saleen SpeedLab are a host of suspension kits and components, including the 2005+ N2 coilover system.
Along with these recent offerings from the SpeedLab, Saleen also shared with us that they are working toward the future with the development of a new supercharger for the 2011-12 5.0L in conjunction with Brenspeed.
