The history of 3dCarbon-Air Design is rooted in the efforts of Ernie Bunnell and Billy Longfellow’s longtime partnership working to jettison modern sport compact body kits and aftermarket cosmetic parts to a level of high art.

For over 20 years 3dCarbon has specialized in the production of special edition and original accessory components molded from plastic, aluminum, and steel for exterior and interior applications. More recently they have utilized their state of the art resources and manufacturing processes to cater to the domestic market.

One of the earliest applications was 3dCarbon’s award winning Boy Racer Kit for the 2004 Mustang. After winning several coveted Ford design awards 3dCarbon had gained a solid presence in the domestic aftermarket for cosmetic stylization. Now they produce several kits catering to the Big Three’s muscle market as well as their compact models.

In 2011, 3dCarbon partnered with Air Design in order to create a totally revamped line of body kits and accessories.
