Eastwood has been bringing out the big guns all week here at SEMA 2013. In addition to displaying some really useful and interesting products, they’ve also been conducting live demos for those present at the show as well as folks at home by way of live-streaming video.
We had to see what all the buzz was about. We stopped by their booth on Thursday, where Nick Kapinski, the Senior Content and Engagement Marketing Manager, was eager to share with us what Eastwood had up its sleeve.
One of the most intriguing products we saw was the lineup of 2-Component Ceramic 2K Aero Sprays. Promising the look and finish of paint gun application without the clean-up hassle, the innocent-looking canisters had more than met the eye.
You see, inside each of these canisters, there’s a bladder filled with a catalyzer surrounded by the paint. A special nozzle on the bottom of the can mates with a removable button found on the lid which, when punched, punctures the bladder and gives you a genuine two-component mixture that dries quickly but lasts long.
“The football-pattern spray gives users a lot more coverage than a conventional aerosol, and get a smoother finish too,” said Kapinski. Tests showed the 2K Aero Sprays give a wide, balanced pattern that’s 5x greater than that found in the competition. There’s even an adjustable nozzle which allows your pattern to switch from horizontal to vertical with a simple twist.
Durable, quick-drying, and easy to use, the 2K Aero Sprays are a great choice for lots of spray-paint tasks, and come in a variety of options including primer and clear coat as well as regular paint. Find out more about them by visiting Eastwood’s website and Facebook page.
We’re not done yet, boys and girls. Stay tuned for more cool stuff from the 2013 SEMA Show.
