From NASCAR to NHRA to the aerospace industry, ARP has a piece of the pie. The fastener company produces an immense catalog of shelf-stock and custom nuts, bolts, and other fasteners that have found their way into all corners of the world – and beyond.

“We have several different engines that we brought to the show with us this week. Richard Childress Racing’s Cup engine has a lot of our specialty parts in it – our rod bolts, main studs, and head studs, but the engine is also dressed out really nice, and most of it is off-the-shelf high strength stainless accessory hardware, says ARP’s Chris Raschke.

“No longer do they want to use a standard commercial bolt – they need a quality piece of hardware and also want the engines to look good. Roush-Yates and Hendricks are all dressed out with ARP hardware as well.”

Despite a full plate supplying the performance automotive business, ARP has also re-entered the aerospace industry. Not by choice, but because the companies participating in the industry are in need of the expertise ARP’s engineers can provide with regards to fastener strength and design.

One item in the booth is a sweet set of header collector fasteners that are re-usable and offer a few features that are unique to ARP’s hardware.

“Every header kit needs collector bolts. Instead of using a lock washer, we have a cadmium-plated tri-crimp nut that won’t allow any corrosion or rust, and you’ll be able to take it apart and re-use it – the crimp returns to its shape after you use it. These are available in hex and 12-point kits,” says Raschke.
