SEMA 2014: Diablosport Talks About The Future Of The Trinity T1000

RE_06Whenever the new year approaches, much of the automotive world prepares for a sea of change–dealerships across the country move quickly to shed the models of the previous year, while preorders for the upcoming year’s cars start flooding in. The aftermarket reacts much in the same way, reacting quickly to announcements from the manufacturers to be the first to market with products they know their customers will want.

In the case of Diablosport, the tried and true Trinity T1000 has proven itself to be a versatile and user-friendly device for modifying a vehicle’s electronics. From cars to trucks, the device has shown noteworthy gains, not just to horsepower and torque, but also to enhancing a driver’s awareness, from datalogging functions to O2 sensor readouts.

The Trinity T1000 now has support for 2014 and 2015 C7s, as well as EcoBoost cars, trucks, and SUVs from Ford.

We caught up with Chris Harubin, marketing coordinator at Diablosport, to see what the deal was regarding new stuff. “One of the really nice things we just released was tuning support for Corvettes, both 2014 and 2015 models,” he said. “We partnered with aFe Power and created a specific tune just for their intake system, so as soon as the owner bolts one onto his car, he’ll have a tune ready to go, giving him an extra 10 hp.”

Branching off of that, Harubin was excited to share that Diablosport had also expanded support to Ford’s EcoBoost line. “This is looking to be one of our top sellers real soon,” said Harubin. “Explorers, the Taurus SHO, F-150s, it’s all looking real good.”

For improved practicality, the Trinity now offers gauge layout customization, allowing users to have the Trinity display gauges wherever they have the tuner set up. “A customer can move the Trinity closer to his line of sight, so he doesn’t have to look around to get a sense of how his car is running,” said Harubin. “We also added a five-volt output, perfect for use with a wideband O2 sensor.”

Diablosport’s advancements to the Trinity will make waves in the weeks to come, and will only get better at supporting more vehicles from the Big Three. Discover more online or on the phone with the provided contact information below.
