The National Street Rod Association will be giving away a beautiful 1932 Woodie Wagon on August 6, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky. The upcoming show season in 2016 will be the 35th consecutive year the National Street Rod Association has given away a prize of this nature. Called the Top Participant Prize, it was hand-built for the NSRA by the Hercules Motor Car Company.
Hercules Motor Car Company, owned by world-renowned metal fabricator Cecil Taylor, specializes in building Woodie wagons. “Nothing on this car is over six months old,” explained Taylor. “This Woodie was built exclusively for the NSRA as the Top Participation Prize.”
Winning the prize is pretty easy. First, you must be in Louisville on August 6, 2016 at the NSRA Street Rod Nationals. You must have your registered street rod or classic car on the fairgrounds. You must have proof of ownership of the vehicle to prove that you are a participating member of the association. Finally, you have to be present at the drawing for the prize and have your name pulled. “Just be there to win,” said Taylor.
In addition to the legendary Hercules Woodies the company has built over the past decade and a half, they are also manufacturing a line of Petroleum Memorabilia, which includes, but is not limited to, vintage-style gas pumps.
From steel pumps from the 1930s and 1940s to oil drums, oil bottles, gas station signs or T-shirts, hats and prints that fit anyone’s garage or game room. Check out Hercules’ website or give them a call.
