Awesome cars are the sum of their parts and Total Seal Piston rings are an excellent example of great parts equals great performance and longevity.
We talked with Total Seal’s Kevin Studaker at SEMA 2016 and he shared his excitement about the company’s new Total Conform piston rings. These rings are a major breakthrough in piston ring design featuring revolutionary radial notch technology.
TOTAL CONFORM FEATURE BENEFITS:
- Unique Radial Notch design allows ring to “conform” to cylinder wall
- Notches in the rings have a radius, which eliminates stress risers, not a square cut. Makes the ring more “conformable”
- Adapts to cylinder distortion better
- Increased horsepower
- Increase in fuel efficiency resulting in higher MPG
- Increased torque and horsepower
- Less Friction, Less Tension, Lower Mass
- Higher Efficiency
- Improved crankcase vacuum
Total Seal Pistons has been in business for 50 years and have been delivering high quality products year after year.
Studaker says, “We are proud of the products we’ve introduced throughout the years, and we’re thankful for our loyal customers’ continued support.”
In late 1999 Total Seal moved into a new 32,000 square foot facility in Phoenix, Arizona. It houses the latest in research and development equipment, manufacturing machinery and technology focusing on developing and manufacturing piston rings for any and all applications.
Total Seal rings continue to show up on the world’s fastest cars, from Winston Cup to IMCA to IRL, from marine to drag racing, oval track to off road – nobody builds piston rings that seal better than Total Seal.
