Can you feel it? The ocean of American politics is approaching high tide again as the indicators are popping up all over the place. Presidential hopefuls on the Republican side, including Rand Paul and Marco Rubio, have made their announcements this month; on the flipside, you have Hillary Clinton running for the Democratic party ticket too.

Could you resist a free ride in a C7 with the VPOTUS?

We here at Corvette Online couldn’t care less who the next Talking-Head-In-Chief is going to be, but that didn’t stop one group from making the case for good ol’ Joe Biden. A gaffe machine, vice president, accomplished senator, and well-known car nut, all wrapped up in one individual–is this the kind of person we want running the country?

The folks running the “Draft Biden 2016” PAC seem to think so. The group’s website is up and running on all cylinders, complete with a standout slogan (“I’m Ridin’ With Biden”) and an interesting illustration primed and ready to get pasted on car bumpers across the nation.

Grabbed from a still from the TV show “Veep,” the artwork depicts a smirking, shades-wearing Uncle Joe behind the wheel of a C7 Stingray, roof open and passenger seat wide open. The style recalls the famous “HOPE” poster that went viral during President Barack Obama’s first campaign back in 2007-08, with its striking mix of red, white, and blue.
