In following with last week’s show format, this week’s show will feature three live interviews from the 2011 GoodGuys Heartland Nationals in Des Moines, IA. Our first guest was Jason Childress from Gateway Classic Mustang. Jason and his brother started their business like a lot of people do, by first building cars for themselves and getting noticed for it.
Jason’s yellow Mustang coupe is an example of what their shop can do, and their passion for making early Mustangs go fast and handle is most definitely evident. Their unique torque arm setup really has their show car dialed in, and when it’s time for the ‘finale’ pass at a Good Guys Show it’s always Jason behind the wheel! He’s a former professional monster truck driver and is pure energy!
Our next guest was Greg Karpe from Dakota Digital. Dakota Digital has been around for years and was really the first on the market to bring digital gauges to classic cars. Recently they’ve brought in an entire line of digital gauges for the Chevelle, Camaro, and Firebird that are digital sweeping needle packages and have more lines on the way in the future. In addition, Dakota Digital can create any custom digital readout package you wish; you just need to call and ask!
