Video: ’70 Nova SS Smokes Out Radio City Music Hall

When one uses the word “epic” to describe something, it basically means get ready to see or experience something astounding. Everyone has seen an excessive or stupid burnout, but try pulling off a massive display of smoke pr0n in front a landmark. A group with some affiliation to 2Fast2Real.com decided to take on the task of the pulling off a show stealing burnout in front the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Just based on the traffic, people, and large numbers of law enforcement, this was not going to be easy one to pull off. However, where there is a will there is way. It seems unlikely that most New York City residents are accustomed to seeing a 1970 Nova SS strapped to a trailer on even a semi-regular basis, then again, nothing probably shocks savvy New Yorkers when they have a Naked Cowboy on the streets.

Unfortunately, the users of this particular video are not playing nicely and have disabled the video. If you still want to see the video, be sure to check it out through the link, here.

With the Nova safely parked on an adjacent street, the guys speculate on what is the worst that could happen while keeping an eye out for the NYPD. One of the “production assistants” states that, “It’s got to be funky,” prior to Nova hitting the streets; once the ’70 is fired up viewers get an idea that it’s a seriously wicked SS complete with a generous nitrous oxide system. After a short cruise, the SS is ready to take center stage in front of Radio City Music Hall and once in position in front the building the show starts.

Smoke erupts from the rear the Nova and it just keeps going; for those who seen an actual burnout contest where an actual racecar (not a 5.0 with 2-chamber Flowmasters) enters the competition then you might understand the pure insanity of this particular smoke session. As the driver lets go the line-lock the Nova rockets forward and disappears into a cloud of tire smoke. One pedestrian avoids the start of the burnout, but others along the street seem barely notice the insane show starring a 1970 Nova SS.
