The great thing about street rods is that they can be made from darn near everything. Be it a cherry ’32 deuce to a ’51 Merc, a ’55 Chevy stepside, a ’60 Thunderbird, or even this way low and smooth ’69 GMC C-10. Wait, a pickup truck can be street rod? Yeah, you better believe it. Scott Lawrence’s rig has wowed crowds from coast to coast. The super clean GMC dominated in Vegas as AccuAir’s 2009 SEMA booth vehicle and has the goods to earn that honor.
C-10 touts some serious street rodder modifications and is so precisely detailed that it was featured on the cover of Street Trucks Magazine May 2009 issue. Recently, Scott, tired of seeing the truck sit in the garage, called AccuAir for a complete Stage 2 e-Level Air Management Package. This new air system transformed his showpiece into a reliable (although, we highly doubt daily) driver.
The new AccuAir system cleaned up Scott’s truck even more as it replaced all the old switches with a remotely-controlled digital system.
