As soon as a driver gets behind the wheel of a Pontiac Firebird or Trans Am, it seems as though they become possessed by the Bandit or Michael Knight. Perhaps possession was behind some of these Trans Am and Firebird jumps, more than likely it was just sheer boredom that led to some of the behind-the-wheel antics complied in one of the best stupid car jump videos ever.

Although none of these hold a candle to the infamous Insane Buick Jump, the opening clip featuring a black Pontiac with flames launching off a ramp is approaching the level of crazy found in Nitro Circus. It appears that kevinfirebird24, a YouTube user, scrounged the internet for the best of the worst when it comes to Pontiac pounces.

Some were filmed in what appears to be a backyard, while others involve the mudding crowd; regardless of the location or genre, this is just over a minute of pure entertainment. In between scenes of Pontiac abuse, are clips from Knight Rider and Smokey and the Bandit.

Both of these pop culture icons deserve respect, but few things are as fun as the Bandit’s driving stunts. Not to mention, that the Bandit’s Trans Am is one of the coolest cars in film history.

Either way this is a great compilation that is destined to break up the monotony of the work day. As fun as some these stunts appear, it is not in the best interest of your Trans Am or Firebird to replicate any of the jumps in this video.
