With all the seriousness going on with the world coming to an end, according to the Mayan calendar, it stands to reason that we should all plan on having just a little bit of fun before we all go ‘poof!’ Of course, come the day after when we’re all still here with hangovers and empty wallets because of all the gas we wasted doing burnouts, we can look back on our night of “living like it’s your last day” and hope for some other calendar to be all jacked up and messing with our universe.

While the people in this video aren’t necessarily living it up waiting for the end of the world to come, they are living it up, nonetheless. And they’re doing it in a fashion that all of us hooligans have witnessed – or participated in – from time to time during the rebellious years of our lives. Now, don’t get us wrong, we wouldn’t ever condone street racing in any way because it’s not just illegal but it’s dangerous for anyone participating. But the burnouts and the legal drag racing, well, we kinda dig it and who are we to not share all this fun with you?

In the video, we see cars of all types hitting the pavement, from turbocharged four-bangers pushing some air though their intakes at the two-digit psi range, to blown musclecars, to a ’72 Nova squeezin’ the bottle at a 150 shot. We’re all musclecar guys through and through, but sometimes you just gotta give some credit to those who take what they have and try to push the air a little faster through their engine to keep up with the big dogs.
