Video: Classic Industries Shows Off GM Emblem Offerings

When it comes to building or restoring a vehicle, we all know what an important role appearance makes on the overall outcome. While body work and paint are obviously the main factors in this, along with trim and wheels, having the appropriate emblems on your vehicle can mean a night and day difference. Luckily, Classic Industries carries many GM reproduction emblems that are just downright gorgeous and fitting for any classic and late model Chevy project vehicle. Take a look at some of Classic’s offerings in this video clip from My Classic Car when Classic Industries’ Edgar Soler stops by the shop to talk to host Dennis Gage above.

If there’s one thing that hasn’t changed about cars and trucks since the early 20th century, it’s the existence of emblems as company markers on vehicles. The Chevy Bowtie first appeared on vehicles starting in 1913 and has been maintained on Chevrolet models ever since. Although emblems have certainly changed a bit over the years, they still play an important role in distinguishing your vehicle from other makes and models.

Whether you’re having to replace damaged or missing emblems, or just want a fresh new look for your Chevy, Classic Industries carries a number of different emblems, from emblems for classic truck to muscle cars and even modern Chevys. They also carry a variety of tools to help you pull old or damaged emblems off with tight fits without damaging your paint, which is an awesome advantage when trying to finish off your pristine ride.

To attach your new emblems, Classic Industries offers a few options, including sealing nuts, barrel nuts and automotive attachment tape. This way, whether you’re drilling holes to fit your new emblems, putting them in places where you can’t access the back of a panel or don’t want to mess with drilling at all, you can attach your emblems properly so they stay right where you put them.

Emblems may not be the first thing on the list for your restoration or build project, but they are certainly an important finishing touch. To browse through all the GM emblems and other GM restoration products Classic Industries offers, be sure to visit their website.
