Classic muscle car remakes are mainstream now in the automotive market. These classic-inspired cars are becoming more and more popular to create special editions out of and custom company cars. Recently, Divine 1 Customs did just that-customizing a ‘11 Dodge Charger for the motocross inspired business, Hart & Huntington. A YouTube video posted on K&N Intake’s Facebook page showcases this unique ride and the inspiration behind it.
Carey Hart, founder of Hart & Huntington grew up riding dirt bikes and was one of the leaders in the freestyle motocross creation. It is the motocross way of life that has inspired Cary Hart’s businesses, including his rock club, tattoo shops and clothing line. This way of life also served as the inspiration for the Hart & Huntington Charger.
After teaming with Dodge Motorsports, Hart & Huntington took on a Charger to display at their booth at Supercross events. Instead of displaying a stock Charger, they turned to their friends at Divine 1 Customs to put a twist on the new Charger worthy of the Hart & Huntington lifestyle.
While a hefty offer, Divine 1 Customs was definitely the shop to take on the the challenge since they had maintained all the employees’ personal cars, the Supercross team vehicles and trailer for years.
The Charger is flat black with gloss black racing stripes with red pin striping designs between them. It features Hart & Huntington graphics on the race stripes as well as embroidered on the front head rests, cut out of the metal piece in the trunk and incorporated into the custom HEMI badges.
The tail lights, windows and grill are all blacked out for an edgy flare. Unfortunately, the performance upgrades done to this Charger aren’t disclosed in the video but we’re not exaggerating when we say it sounds mean.
While a four-door muscle car remake may not be everyone’s style, this is truly one bad looking ride. The Hart & Huntington lifestyle definitely lives through this Chager and we’re glad that we got to see it. Check out the video to see the custom Charger in all its glory.
