There is a lot of discussion in America these days regarding wealth inequality, but over in the socialist European states, the horsepower gap is more of an issue if you ask us. At $10 a gallon, most Europeans who are able to afford cars can’t afford fast cars. But there are those who can afford to import American exotics like the Dodge Viper and fill them up with $200 worth of petrol just to enjoy a short jaunt in the countryside.
But no matter how wealthy you are, all the money in the world can’t save you from bad driving, as the Hungarian driver of this Dodge Viper found out when he flubbed up an exit ramp maneuver.
We have precious little info to go on besides the video and Euro-techno-dub-garbage music playing over a scene of high speed racing down a Hungarian highway. There are several near-misses from the lead car, a yellow Viper, prior to the exit ramp. The video looks like it may have been sped up for emphasis, but make no mistake about it, these two cars were flying through traffic.
Just prior to the exit ramp though, the lead Viper’s tail gets a little fishy. With no room to correct at such speeds, the Viper bounces off of one guard rail before slamming hard into another, It’s a nasty accident that pops the whole hood of the Viper off the car, resulting in another pile of high performance scrap metal. These cars should really come with mandatory driving lessons, don’t you think?
