This wild 1969 Camaro might possibly be one of the most over-the-top builds we have seen in a long time. This is not your average run-of-the-mill Pro-Street Camaro. Owner Bradley Gray transformed this ’69 Camaro into the most amazing, jaw-dropping, eye catching street machine. We honestly think you’ll agree, that after seeing more than our share of ’69 Camaros, they tend to blend into the backdrop, even more so when they are placed among a few hundred other first-generation Camaros. However, not this one!
The video you see here was taken at this year’s Super Chevy Show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The photographer from ScottiedTV was able to stop Bradley for a private interview in the parking lot, along with a photo shoot of his spectacular car.
Bradley built the car to be different, not only is it powered by a 454ci. big-block Chevy that is punched out to 468 cubic inches, it also has a 14-71 supercharger on it piggybacked with two 68 mm turbo’s that feed the giant bug catcher. Just in case that induction system isn’t up to par, there is a fogger nitrous oxide system jetted for an additional 200 hp! When it comes to a compound induction set up, Bradley’s Camaro has all the bases covered.
The interior is simply gorgeous; it has the all business look of a pro-street drag car, but it’s wrapped in expensive leather and detailed as if it was going to compete for the Riddler award! The custom-built roll cage flows nicely with the rest of the interior, and with its body colored paint, it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb as nearly all do. The interior in this Camaro is nicer than the ones you see in the majority of Cadillac’s, who said you couldn’t have the form without function?
Looking at the car itself, it is a masterpiece of ingenuity, beauty, and detail. The body work and paint is beautiful, and the panel fit is perfect. If we didn’t tell you, you would’ve thought this car was painted yesterday, when, in fact, the paint job is 16 years old. From any angle…. Top to bottom, or front to back it is a work of art!
The thousands of hours that went into building and designing this car must’ve been mind-boggling to say the least, and the result is simply awesome! It’s the type of project that if you’re not truly passionate about cars, you would have been assigned to a padded cell long before it was completed. With that being said, enjoy the video, and we hope this inspires you on your project; it definitely got our creative juices flowing.
