Being a muscle car fan and living in America is a happy coincidence most of the world doesn’t know. In fact, most people on the planet go their whole lives without ever seeing a real American muscle car, and it is just a select few who ever actually own one. If you live outside of the U.S., your only option is to either steal a classic muscle car, or make a lot of money and import it.
WasabiCars, a YouTube channel that has come across American cars abandoned in foreign lands before, shared with us this story of a stash of Mopar muscle cars found in the Land Down Under. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
According to Wasabi, he was just out riding his bike when he came across a 426 HEMI Challenger being loaded onto a flatbed. Turns out the owner had a ton of other Mopar muscle cars in his stash, including a half-rebuilt Superbird, a Dodge Coronet, and a Charger RT with a HEMI as well. Remember, this is all in Australia.
Apparently the owner of these cars had his land confiscated by his local government, and he had to remove the cars in 30 days or they would be crushed. That would be a terrible, terrible shame for these classics to be crushed so far from home, but it looks like the owner cares enough to save them. These American transplants will love on, hopefully in a more-secure location.
