Muscle cars are more than just a hobby or a pass time. Turning wrenches, racing, and driving our muscle cars hard are truly a way of life for most of us. But can the same really be said for the parts companies we rely on to help us keep our beasts on the road?

If you’ve been working on muscle cars for any length of time, you already know that the very best aftermarket and restoration parts come from companies who make parts for muscle cars they personally own, work on, and beat on regularly. These are the manufacturers who are die-hard gear heads just like us – who “live the muscle car life.”  

For 30 years the guys at Year One have been doing just that, as they point out in their new 30-second TV spot featured above. Year One makes parts for Novas, Chevelles, Mustangs, Road Runners, Chargers, Challengers, Camaros, Trans Ams, and GTOs, as well as tons of other under-served muscle cars that are still on the roads today. But they don’t just make parts as a part of their business – they build and beat on these same cars just like you and me.  

You might recognize a few of the cars being tossed around in the commercial, most of which are products of Year One’s in-house custom shop, the Ghost Works Garage.
