SEMA 2016: Accessory-Drive Options From March Performance

Seeing an engine swap involving an LS engine into a classic car is now normal practice. Some enthusiasts even go so far as to adapt a carburetor to the modern day powerplant. But once you spend all that time installing the engine, you want things to look good. That means eliminating the factory accessory-drive system. But what do you replace it with? Introducing the March Performance solution to that concern. Kim March said, “We have a simple, bolt on mid-mount kit for use with a standard rotation water pump on a carbureted engine.” Introducing the LS Forward Rotation Water Pump Pulley and Bracket Kit. This is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for strength, and features maintenance-free powdercoating in either a clear or black finish.

Pentastar fans rejoice.

If you’re a fan of the Pentastar or Blue Oval, March Performance has products for you as well. They have just released a great new kit designed to fit the Chrysler big and small-block engines. This serpentine conversion kit eliminates the problem of throwing v-belts at high engine RPM. The power steering bracket accepts a standard Saginaw pump or you can opt for a billet P/S pump. The parts are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for strength, and come in either a clear or black powdercoated finish.

New for you fans of Ford, is a serpentine conversion kit for Ford’s 429, 460, and 351ci Cleveland engines. Just like the small-block Pentastar kit, the Ford kit has a power steering bracket that accepts a standard Saginaw pump or March Performance’s own billet pump. It is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for strength, and also powdercoated clear or black.
