In the next few weeks, expect a lot of information to come out regarding the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This is one of those annual events that gets the whole automotive aftermarket industry whipped up into a frenzy as rumors and speculation abound about what is going to come out of this year’s show. We’ve already gotten a few sneak peeks, and the press releases are starting to come in as well.
A video from the Ford Story shows what is obviously a classic reproduction body being combined over by Blue Oval engineers. Right now Dynacorn Classic Bodies already produces ‘67 and ‘69-70 Mustang reproduction bodies, and it is expected that they will announce a ‘65-’66 Mustang body at SEMA show in November.

We hope this isn’t a repeat of last year, when Dynacorn showed off a prototype ‘65-’66 Mustang reproduction shell but didn’t follow through with sales (probably due to some licensing snaf.u) The video above from the Ford Story shows some guys combing over a classic Mustang body of some kind, though they don’t say exactly what. It will be an officially licensed Ford reproduction part though, giving restoration experts and aftermarket modders a chance to start with a fresh, clean body rather than tearing apart the rapidly dwindling supply of original cars.
We’ll find out for sure if this is the real deal in just a few weeks.
