We’ve talked about Fastlane before, as the shop has had a number of awesome muscle car projects, and these guys really know how to turn a fast V8 into an absolute monster. But how about something for the truck guys? After all, pickup trucks are perennially the best selling vehicles in America. Fastlane has done trucks too, including the 427SS Chevy Silverado pickup truck. Now they’re gonna get their Mopar on.
Pickuptrucks.com reports that Fastlane is taking a Ram 1500 R/T Terramoto pickup, and judging from their previous work, it should be one hell of a ride.
“Terramoto” stands for Earthquake in Spanish, and they promise at least 500 horsepower out of their Mopar pickup thanks to a supercharger atop the 5.7 liter HEMI engine. With all that horsepower, you’re going to want a truck that stands out from the crowd too, so expect a custom exhaust, bumper covers, and an extreme lowering kit (between four and six inches). You like big wheels? Well you will get them with the Terramoto, with 24-inch chrome jobs up front and 22-inch wheels out back.
And you’ll want to sit in style, so Fastlane will also be installing a custom interior with R/T stitching in the seats. With the factory Ram R/T blitzing from 0 to 60 mph in under six seconds. With an extra 100-plus-horsepower on tap, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Terramoto hit 60 in around five seconds or less. Hell, it will probably keep up with a stock Challenger R/T once Fastlane is through with it. We’ll be keeping an eye out for these in our neighborhood.
