Few cars have achieved the level of fame or notoriety that the Shelby Cobra has. Besides being the single most popular kit car ever, Shelby has inspired everything from clothes to bicycles. One trend we’re surprised Shelby hasn’t capitalized on though is that of gearheads bringing their hobby into their home. Specifically, gearhead home decor.
Well it was only a matter of time. Statue Decor is now offering a Shelby Cobra glass-top coffee table for the low, low price of just $1,124.24. Yes, that is an $1,100 coffee table.
But it is a Shelby too…even though the sale ad refers to it is a Chevy (really??). There is also no mention of licensing, so Shelby may end up sending a cease-or-desist letter to these chaps before long. All the more reason to buy your expensive Shelby coffee table today, as it might not be for sale tomorrow!
Measuring 23 inches tall by 32 inches wide by 36 inches long, it isn’t the world’s largest coffee table, but it is big enough for a few beers and buffalo wings. With the rise of the Man Cave, this coffee table would be a great addition to any basement bangout. Still, the price is pretty steep…would you pay it?
