Though the Mustang is well-known, and well-loved throughout the world, a vast majority of the Earth’s populace will never even see a classic Mustang, nevermind drive it. It’s one of those small things that makes living in America so awesome, being able to jump on eBay or Craigslist, and finding an affordable classic car just down the road. There are about 6.7 billion people on this planet who don’t have that luxury.

But that doesn’t stop the most determined-minded individuals from getting the Mustang of their dreams…or at least one that fits within their budget. Carscoop came across this crazy custom car made to look like a 1967 Eleanor Mustang…just not quite as big.

Created by master car replicators Big Daddy Customs, based out of Delhi, India, this mini-Eleanor is actually a Chevrolet Optra/Daewoo Lacetti, an economy-minded automobile that is among the most popular in the Indian market. It should be known that almost all Indian cars are economy minded, given the general impoverished nature of the country.

That didn’t stop Big Daddy Customs from taking the Optra, a sedan, and turning it into an Eleanor Mustang clone. And the designers definitely deserve a heap of credit, as they essentially fashioned all of those parts by hand.  Sure, the proportions are a little off, but chances are the most of this work was done by hand and hammer…literally. This is Custom with a capital C, and a few American “custom” shops could probably take notes on dedication and determination from Big Daddy Customs.

If you ask us, this is one of the best custom “Mustangs” we’ve seen in a while.
