When we refer to a car as a “monster,” we are generally referring to the vehicles performance on the race track or drag strip. We’re not actually calling the car a vicious beast from the nightmares of children. Really, who wants to design a car that will inspire terror in the hearts of little kids?
Well at least one guy did. Up on Craigslist we came across a Mustang GT that could only be described as a hilariously horrible attempt at turning a muscle car into a monster…literally.
Found in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, this car is based on a 1995 Mustang GT (the last year for the original 5.0 V8). As a result of a minor front end collision, the owner decided to make some creative “repairs.” What we mean by that is the owner, who now needs to sell this “monster” to pay medical bills, basically crafted the jaws and eyes of some kind of road creature on to the front of this poor Mustang. And, well, yeah. There it is. Awful.
Believe it or not, the front end was actually crafted (poorly) from fiberglass, though honestly it looks more like paper-mache. Aside from the awful “artwork” on the front end though, this is a fairly completel (and thouroughly ugly) Mustang that has had plenty of work done to it, including all new engine gaskets, brakes, hoses, the ignition switch and more, for just $2,900. Of course, neither the air conditioning nor the power windows work, so it could get a bit stuffy in the belly of this beast. Just make sure to bring a jar to collect the tears of the horrified children you’ll leave in your wake to keep you cool.
