The remote control car industry has been rolling out bigger and better scale-model rides for the past few years now, trying to keep pace with the power and innovation coming out of actual automakers. You can now get a fast and powerful RC car in any number of popular body styles, including the Chevy Camaro.

And it is a 5th gen Camaro that stars in this next video, a collaboration between fitness shake-maker L.A. Muscle and Fast and Furious 6, which just hit theaters. It’s an epic Hollywood chase scene, but on a micro-level.

This mini-movie is so well-produced, that you could be forgiven for thinking it utilizes actual, full-scale cars. But nope, those are all remote control scale models, able to turn on a dime and reverse direction with just the twitch of a thumb. The chase scene is set in some sort of warehouse, and includes the usual obstacles like cardboard boxes and empty cans being knocked down.

What really sets the ambiance for this chase is that darkness, allowing the “HID” lights to really cut through the setting give it that “gritty” feeling. A remote control helicopter even joins in the pursuit, and it all ends with an epic jump over some stacked containers of protein shakes. Makes us want to go out and set up a RC obstacle course of our own.
